Friendly security men at every place that has a door. Plus, metal detectors, hands on body search and opened bags for most average shops. Additionally, machine guns at every public transport station or market entrance.

There are actually two kinds of military guys: some walk around carrying a stick, and others hide behind sand bags with machine guns. I don't understand why thats not making me feel safer..

To put this in context, there are newspaper articles like this one: "The mayor of the Indian capital Delhi has died a day after being attacked by a horde of wild monkeys."
